Man struck, killed by Q train in Astoria: FDNY

A man was struck and killed by a northbound Q train in Astoria Friday evening, according to the FDNY. The man, who was in his 30s, was seen stumbling on the platform at the Broadway station just before 7 p.m. fire officials said, but it was not known how he ended up on the tracks before he was hit by the train.

The man, whose name has not been released, died at the scene, the FDNY said.
