By Madina Toure

A Bronx man was arrested and charged with slashing three men at an Astoria nightclub early Friday morning, the NYPD said.

Michael Bond, 30, was arrested March 6 at about 7 p.m. for allegedly slashing three men with a knife at Club Purlieu at 36-04 34th St. in Astoria at about 2:55 a.m., a police spokesman said. Police would not release the identities of the three victims, the spokesman said.

Bond was charged with robbery, gang assault and criminal possession of a weapon, according to a criminal complaint file by the Queens district attorney’s office.

Two of the men were sent to Cornell Medical Center, while the other was sent to Elmhurst Hospital Center, a police spokeswoman said. The injuries did not appear to be life-threatening and it was unclear whether the victims were hospitalized, she said.

A man named Joshua was allegedly punched several times in his face and body, pushed to the floor and kicked several times by four males, causing him significant pain, bruising and lacerations to his body and face, according to the criminal complaint.

The men allegedly removed his cell phone and his money from his jacket pocket, ripped his gold chain from his neck and pulled his jacket off his body as he was lying on the floor, the complaint continued.

Bond was allegedly among the group of men attacking the victim, with video surveillance said to have shown Bond picking up a pole and striking Medina with a pole numerous times, the complaint said. The identities of the other three males were not known.

The fight occurred during a party for Chedda Da Connect, a Houston-based rapper, according to news reports.

Bond was arraigned March 7, according to the Queens DA spokeswoman. His next court date is March 20.
