The N and Q trains, after being down for more than 1 hour, are back up and running after a track fire at the Lexington Avenue-59th Street Station forced the MTA to stop service this morning, according to the MTA.

The FDNY was called to the station just before 8 am this morning, and remained on the scene.

As a result of the fire, the N and Q trains were not running in either direction from Queensboro Plaza to 57th Street during the rush-hour commute.
