Plans have been filed for a 14-story, 48-unit residential building to go up at 45-24 Vernon Blvd, according to Department of Building records.
The site is currently a one-story manufacturing facility located on the same block as the beaten–up old Paragon Paint building.
The owner has yet to file plans to demolish the existing 12,000 square foot building.
The development will be 52,000 square feet with roughly 4,570-square-feet to be used for ground floor retail. The remainder will be for residential use.
It is unknown if the apartments will be rentals or condos.
