Rapper Flo Rida and pop star Robin Thicke will take a private stage on the Long Island City waterfront Thursday evening, according to sources.
The two are performing this evening as part of the Macy’s July 4 celebration, sources close to the situation told the LIC Post.
Flo Rida is a Florida-native rapper best known for songs “Right Round,” “Whistle” and his debut hit “Low.” Robin Thicke, son of the actor Alan Thicke, is a singer-songwriter best known for the controversial song “Blurred Lines.”
NBCUniversal employees were seen setting up the stage at Hunters Point South Park, next to LIC Landing, Thursday morning.
