Man jumps to his death off Court Square building

A 35-year-old man jumped off the roof of a Court Square apartment building to his death last night.

The police were called to 42-77 Hunter Street at about 9:30 pm Monday and discovered the man lying face up on the street, according to an NYPD spokeswoman. The man was dead at the scene.

According to the NYPost, the man worked in the finance industry and had come from Canada for his job.
