Sept. 17, 2015 Staff Report
Building plans have been filed for a seven story building to go up on the corner of Vernon Blvd and 46th Avenue.
The plans call for a 70-foot tall building that would consist of 24 apartments on top of 7,200 square feet of retail space.
The commercial/retail space will be on the ground floor. There will be four units on each floor—from floors two through seven.
The development includes a garage beneath the building that will have parking for 12 cars, the minimum number for 24 units. There will be a roof deck and 12 bike storage spots.
The developer is Rocco Tomassetti, who owns Empire Transit Mix, a concrete manufacturing firm based out of Brooklyn. He has hired Philip Toscano as the architect.
