A small Korean restaurant will be opening in Sunnyside next month across the street from the Butcher Block.
The restaurant, to be called Mamma Casa, will be located at 43-43 41 Street, where Anise Fusion, a Thai restaurant, once operated.
The owner of Mamma Casa got the approved needed for a wine and beer license by Community Board 2 on Wednesday.
The establishment will have room for 5 tables, and will cater to 14 diners.
There was no mention of whether the restaurant will offer take out or delivery.
