A man was shot during a botched armed robbery just blocks from the Queens Borough Bridge early Sunday, according to police.

Two men approached the victim and tried to remove the man’s gold chain at about 6:20 am, in the vicinity of Five Star Banquet, located 13-05 43rd Ave.

During the struggle one of the suspects displayed a firearm and shot the 29-year-old victim in his abdomen and thigh, according to the NYPD.

A shot was also fired in the direction of the victim’s friend but missed.

The suspects are both described as men aged between 19 and 25 years old.

The Daily News reported that the shooting took place in front of Show Palace Gentleman’s Club, located just around the corner on 21st Street.

The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

Police released a video of the suspects. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
