Riko Peruvian Cuisine, formerly known as Pio Pio Riko, is opening a second Sunnyside location, according to its owner.

The restaurant, which currently occupies a prominent space at 45-23 Greenpoint Avenue, will be opening another spot at 43-22 Queens Blvd.

“Everything will be exactly the same,” as the Greenpoint Avenue restaurant, said the owner, who requested not to be named for the article.

The restaurant is best known for its rotisserie chicken, seafood and its rice & beans.

“We get a lot of lines where we are now,” the owner said. She added that the new location will draw some of its existing customers as well as new ones given its Queens Blvd location.

Riko will be taking over the space that was former occupied by Dj’s Pawn Shop, which closed earlier this year.

The restaurant will occupy a section of the Queens Blvd property—which incorporates stores such as Dave’s Bagels and Amazon Pharmacy—that was bought for $7.3 million in January, according to the real estate research firm Property Shark. This transaction, however, did not appear on New York City Department of Finance’s website ACRIS, which keeps property records.

Riko’s Queens Blvd. location is expected to open in November. This will be the fourth Riko restaurant, with operations in Jamaica and Manhattan.
