The police are searching for a man who robbed a woman at gunpoint at the BP gas station at 40-08 30th Avenue last month.
The incident took place at 4:30 am on Thursday, Sept. 24, when the perpetrator allegedly approached a 21-year-old woman with a gun and demanded her necklace, police said. He then removed her necklace and took off on a dirt bike.
Police released a photo (see left) of the suspect Saturday.
Meanwhile, the police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a different man who is wanted in connection with a burglary that took place on Wednesday, July 22, at about 5:40 am in the vicinity of 21st Street and 26th Road.
The suspect allegedly entered the home of a 38-year-old female who was sleeping on the couch at the time of the incident.
The victim confronted the suspect who then fled. Nothing was stolen and the woman was not hurt. The suspect was last seen fleeing westbound on 26th Road.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic who is approx. 6’1″, 180 lbs, with black hair. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black shorts.
