A young man died after losing control of his motorcycle on Steinway Street on Sunday, according to the NYPD.
Police found Woodside resident Nathaniel Gomez, 22, at 23rd Avenue and Steinway Street around 6 a.m. Sunday. Gomez was lying unconscious on the road with trauma to his head and body.
He was transported to Elmhurst General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to police, the Collision Investigation Squad found that Gomez was riding southbound on Steinway Street when he lost control of his motorcycle.
There are no arrests at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
