The Pinkerton detective agency is offering a $100,000 reward to anyone who can provide information that can lead to the recovery of a white 2015 Lamborghini Aventador Convertible stolen in Flushing at the end of October.
The luxury vehicle was last seen Oct. 28 at the intersection of Fowler Road and College Point Boulevard, the firm said. The basic list price runs about $440,000.
Although the vehicle was last seen in New York City, the company said that there may be ties to people in the Atlanta area.
“The investigation has identified a number of people in the Atlanta area,” the company said in a statement.
The firm said the investigation is ongoing.
“This is still a very active case being investigated by multiple federal and state agencies,” the agency added. “We therefore cannot give any further details.”
