Two teenagers used a ladder to gain access to an Astoria resident’s backyard before stealing two bicycles, according to police.
The suspects scaled a fence with a 20-foot ladder and entered an enclosed backyard within the vicinity of 11th Street near 35th Ave on October 19th, police said.
They went into a shed and stole two bicycles, a pink women’s bike and a mountain bike, according to the NYPD.
Police describe the suspects as two males, black, roughly 16-years-old. One was wearing black and the other was wearing gray, according to police.
The police would not reveal the exact location.
The men were caught on a surveillance video, but police have not made it available to the public, according to the spokeswoman.
