The LIC Flea & Food market will be returning for a fourth season this April.

The flea will open on April 9 and will run ever Saturday and Sunday through October.

The flea takes place on an empty lot at the corner of Fifth Street and 46th Avenue, just one block behind the Pepsi-Cola sign. The lot is owned by Plaxall, a family-owned and operated business, which hosts and supports the event each year.

This year up to 80 vendors are expected to participate, according to Elizabeth Aloni, LIC Flea market director.

Items for sale include food and beverages, jewelry, furniture, handcrafted items, vintage clothing, antiques, collectibles and recycled items. There will be artists selling their paintings, photographs and sculptures, Aloni said.

“We have something for everyone,” she said.

The flea will include vendors such as Bulldog Burgery, which serves all-beef burgers and fresh cut fries, and Vivian Jewelry. New vendors include The Ditty, a pub that recently opened on Ditmars Blvd in Astoria.

The flea will also be bringing back its beer and wine garden for a second year. The participating breweries are still being determined, according to Aloni.

Venders still have time to sign up and can reach out here: http://www.licflea.com/
