Long Island City real estate firm closes after four years in business

Dream

Feb. 10, 2016 By Christian Murray

Dream Property Group, which had a large office on the corner of 48th and Vernon Avenues, closed last month stemming from a disagreement between the two business owners.

The real estate firm, which had been in business for four years, had been faring well and had built a name for itself in the rental market, according to real estate sources. It opened just as the market was starting to heat up.

The issue between the partners was not clear.

The firm hired numerous agents over the years.  Many of these salespeople have gone on to work at other nearby firms such as Space Marketing Shop, Modern Spaces and Douglas Elliman.
