The Hakimian Organization, the developers behind a 15-story, 43-unit apartment building in Long Island City, has released a rendering of the exterior.
The development, located at 41-32 27th St., will be built with a construction loan from Bank Leumi, which is lending the company $15.5 million, the Commercial Observer reported.
The 43,808-square-foot building will include amenities such as an indoor and outdoor lounge, a fitness center, a rooftop recreational space and storage for bicycles. The project is expected to be complete in 2017.
Forest Hills-based ARC Architecture + Design Studio designed the exterior while David Howell Design will act as the interior designer.
The Queens Plaza section of Long Island City is seeing rapid development with several residential projects being constructed in the area, including a Greystone Development project ― a 23-story tower housing 117 units.
