Scandals, the gritty strip club located in the heart of Long Island City, reopened at its former site by the Queensboro Bridge Thursday night.

The club, situated at 24-03 Queen Plaza North,  shut its doors in February 2015 but is back in operation seven days per week.

The manager of the club told the LIC Post that a new owner took over the building and welcomed the strip club back to the location for a few years.

The property was bought in March 2015 for $16.5 by Ciampa Realty.

The strip club is located across the street from the QLIC development, a 21-story, 421-unit rental tower.  The area is mushrooming with new developments and is no longer the unkempt area of yesteryear.

Scandals has been at that location since 2002. Although it closed for a year, the awning was never taken down.
