The latest development coming down the pike in Astoria is a seven-story, 16-unit building on 31st Street.

Construction plans were filed yesterday with the Department of Buildings (DOB) for the structure at 25-40 31st Street. The new building, located by the Astoria Boulevard Station, will replace a two-story house.

The 12,753 square-foot, mixed-use development, will have 16-residential units, and include 1,488 square-feet of commercial space on the first floor, according to the fillings with the DOB.

It will feature an interior parking lot in the cellar with eight spaces.

CVP Architect is designing the building.
