A three-alarm fire broke out in Jamaica this Monday morning, according to the FDNY.
The fire began inside a home at 175-01 Liberty Ave. at about 9:20 a.m., a FDNY spokesperson said. According to the FDNY Twitter page, both the first and second floors were on fire. The fire came under control at 10:56 a.m. after 138 firemen and 33 units responded to the scene.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire. There were no reported injuries but the house did experience substantial damage, officials said.
