Windmuller Park’s pool will quickly be restored after it was shut down last night due to a leak.
The pool was shut down at about 5:45 pm. Water from the pool spilled over onto the neighboring handball courts.
Workers with the Parks Department were on site at 6 am this morning to make repairs, according to an agency spokeswoman.
“Thanks to the quick response we hope to have the pool back open today for the second session (around 4 pm),” she said.
The pool, which is located at 54th Street and 39th Road, is normally open from 11 am to 7 pm, with a break for cleaning from 3 pm to 4 pm.
