Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly stabbed a 19-year-old man in Astoria last week.
The victim got in to a verbal dispute with several people in front of 40-02 Broadway around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, according to police.
As the victim was leaving, one of the men approached him from behind and stabbed him in the lower torso with an unknown sharp object. The individuals then fled the scene.
The victim was transported to Elmhurst Hospital and treated for his injuries.
The individuals involved in the altercation were all described as Hispanic males between 30 and 50 years old, and around 5-foot-7 and 170 pounds.
Police have released photos of the suspects, and anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
