The Michelin ratings for 2017 were leaked early, and this year only one Queens restaurant made the cut.

Eater NY released the list a few days earlier than expected, and LIC standby Casa Enrique, known for its authentic Mexican food, maintained its position on the list of the top 77 restaurants throughout the city to be awarded a Michelin star. This is the third year running it has received a coveted star.

According to the leaked list, Casa Enrique, located at 5-48 49th Avenue, is the only Queens restaurant to make the cut this year. M. Wells Steakhouse was awarded a star in both 2015 and 2016, but was bumped off this year’s list.

Though the official report from Michelin has not yet been released, last year the guidebook wrote of Casa Enrique, “One can literally taste the regions and cities that Chef Cosme Aguilar’s amazingly complex menu explores-including his own childhood recipes to honor his mother’s memory. A steady stream of hungry diners seeks out this rather small, tasteful dining room for friendly yet professional service and soul-warming fare.”

Casa Enrique is owned by Winston Kulok and his wife, Carole Bergman Kulok, who opened the restaurant in 2012. They also own Café Henri, a French bistro located nearby.
