Police are on the hunt for a duo who left a man unconscious in a Flushing subway station after a dispute about their spot in line.
At 1:50 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, a man was standing in line at the subway booth inside the Flushing/Main Street 7 Train station so he could add money to his MetroCard. The man stepped out of line to check his balance on the self-service swipe balance checking device mounted on the outside of the booth.
When the man attempted to take back his spot in line, he got into a dispute with the two unidentified men. The suspects pushed the man in the direction of the stairs, where they assaulted the victim and left him unconscious. Following the incident, the suspects fled the scene.
The victim suffered lacerations to his face. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NewYork/Presbyterian-Queens hospital.
The suspects are described as Hispanic men, one in his 20s and the other in his 40s.
