A new café opened on Vernon Boulevard last week that will eventually transform into a French restaurant.
Vernon Social, located at 46-15 Vernon Boulevard, opened last Wednesday and is currently being run as a café/juice bar. The establishment, which opens at 7 am each day, is also offering breakfast and lunch food.
The owner, Angel Ramirez, has opened the café while he works on completing a French restaurant. He is presently doing construction work at the back of the building, behind the interior walls of the cafe. He expects the restaurant to be completed in about three months.
The cafe space will be incorporated into the restaurant.
The established is located across the street from Junior’s Cafe next door to an auto-body shop.
