Police are searching for a man who attempted to rob a Long Island City bank and ran off cashless.
According to police, an unidentified man walked into a Chase Bank located at 25-15 Queens Plaza North at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22. He approached the teller and passed her a note demanding money.
The teller refused to comply with the note and walked away from the window. The suspect fled the bank in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as a black male between 45 and 50 years of age, standing five feet, eight inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a waist-length black jacket, blue jeans and a baseball hat.
