A digital advertising agency will soon take up residence in Long Island City.
VaynerMedia, a company focused on digital media, announced Tuesday that it will open a 43,000-square-foot production studio in the Blanchard building at 21-10 51st Avenue, one of two renovated warehouses making up a new office complex called The Point LIC.
The Point LIC is a joint venture between Related Companies and GreenOak Real Estate, which acquired the Blanchard building and the Paragon building at 21-00 49th Avenue a year ago. The companies have renovated the buildings to include office and retail space.
The $10 million renovation of the Blanchard is slated to be completed this spring, and the $20 million renovation of the Paragon will finish in the fall.
VaynerMedia is the first tenant to publicly sign on as a tenant of the Blanchard and will move in this summer. The 7-story building will also include an indoor-outdoor café, and various other tenants will be announced soon, said a spokeswoman for the company.
The Paragon will have similar amenities to the Blanchard, as well as a private rooftop space for building tenants.
VaynerMedia is based out of offices at 10 Hudson Yards, also owned by Related Companies. The two offices will be easily connected by the nearby 7 train.
