Duo snatch display iPhones at 8 different stores across Queens and Brooklyn: cops

Police are on the hunt for two men wanted in connection to a string of iPhone thefts at phone stores across Queens and Brooklyn dating back to last November.

According to cops, the duo have stolen a total of 15 iPhones at eight different store locations.

In each incident, one unidentified men acts as lookout while the other unidentified male removes iPhones that are on display, law enforcement agents reported. After at least three of the incidents, the males were seen fleeing inside a black Infiniti M35x sedan.

The first incident took place on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016 at 5:10 p.m. at the MetroPCS located at 135-02 Jamaica Ave. on the Richmond Hill/Kew Gardens border, in the confines of the 102nd Precinct; the suspects removed one iPhone 7.

On Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 at 4:19 p.m. the duo hit the MetroPCS located at 39-24 Queens Blvd. in Sunnyside, within the confines of the 108th Precinct, where they stole two iPhone 7s.

Then, on Sunday, Dec. 25, 2016 at 1:05 p.m. at the MetroPCS located at 2015 Avenue U in Brooklyn, in the confines of the 61st Precinct, the pair walked out with three iPhones.

Less than a month later, on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, the crooks struck the MetroPCS located at 103-16 Liberty Ave. on the Ozone Park border, within the confines of the 106th Precinct, and ripped off one iPhone 7.

On Monday, March 13, at 5:05 p.m. at MetroPCS located at 215-35 Jamaica Ave. in Queens Village, in the confines of the 105th Precinct, the men stole two iPhone 7s.

Additionally, on the same day at 6:40 p.m. the suspects took three iPhones from the AT&T store located at 94-05 Rockaway Blvd. in Ozone Park, in the confines of the 106th Precinct.

The duo then took a pair of iPhones from the MetroPCS located at 231-16 Merrick Blvd. in Laurelton, in the confines of the 105th Precinct on Wednesday, March 15, at 5:40 p.m.

Then, a half hour later at 6:10 p.m., the thieves struck again at the AT&T store located at 157-14 Cross Bay Blvd. in Howard Beach, within the confines of the 106th Precinct, and removed one iPhone.
