Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two teenage girls who assaulted a young woman at a 7 train station in Jackson Heights.
At around 2:45 on Friday, April 21, a 16-year-old female was punched and kicked by two unknown females inside the 82nd Street stop following a dispute on board the 7 train. Following the attack, the suspects fled the station in an unknown direction.
The victim suffered lacerations to the face, arms and knees. She was transported to Elmhurst General Hospital in fair condition. According to police sources, the victim did not know who the assailants were.
The suspects are described as Hispanic females between the ages of 17 and 18 years old, standing between 5 feet, 2 inches and 5 feet, 3 inches tall. The first suspect has red hair and was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket and blue jeans. The second suspect was carrying a black shoulder bag and was last seen wearing a yellow hooded sweater, blue jeans and black sneakers.
