The first brick-and-mortar Starbucks store is opening in Long Island City, coming to the Court Square district.
The store will open at 26-14 Jackson Avenue later this year, Starbucks confirmed, in the same building where Chipotle is located. The news was first reported by the Court Square blog.
“We’re proud to be joining the Long Island City neighborhood later this year and look forward to acting as a gathering place for residents and visitors of the community,” a Starbucks spokeswoman said.
