A state lawmaker who represents areas of Flushing, Bayside, Fresh Meadows and Douglaston will bring valuable resources directly to the people over the course of the summer.
Assemblywoman Nily Rozic, who represents District 25, will take her mobile office to local businesses, senior centers and popular neighborhood spots in July and August. Residents can pose their questions and concerns to the lawmaker and her team, as well as take advantage of information on a wealth of topics, including city parking regulations, voter registration and crime prevention tips.
Mobile offices will be set up at the following locations and times:
- Bayside: July 21 from 10:30 a.m. – noon at the Bayside Library, 214-20 Northern Blvd.
- Fresh Meadows: July 24 from noon – 2 p.m. at Starbucks, 61-51 188th St.
- Douglaston: July 31 from noon – 2 p.m. at Fairway Market, 242-21 61 Ave.
- Flushing: Aug. 17 from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. at Benjamin Rosenthal Selfhelp Senior Center, 45-25 Kissena Blvd.
“Every day, my staff and I work hard to be accountable to the community and assist in any problem large or small,” Rozic said. “Holding mobile office hours lets families voice their concerns at times that suit their schedule, and makes government more readily available. I encourage everyone to take advantage of these stops to address the quality-of-life concerns affecting their neighborhood.”
In addition, Rozic continues to welcome constituents to visit her district office at 159-16 Union Tpke. Questions can be directed to the Assemblywoman’s office at 718-820-0241.
