The police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a Sunnyside liquor store on Friday.
The suspect allegedly entered Choice Discount liquor store, located at 43-42 48th Street, at around 5:10 pm on July 14, approached an employee and demanded cash from the register.
The employee complied and gave the suspect approximately $100. The alleged perpetrator then forced the employee to a back room where he removed the employee’s debit card and approximately $80 in cash. The suspect then fled the location southbound on 48 Street, according to police.
The suspect is described as black, 25 to 35 years old, 190 to 210lbs, 6’0″ to 6’3″, with black sunglasses and white ear pods; last seen wearing a dark colored trench coat, blue jeans, a black baseball cap, black sneakers and a gray backpack with a red stripe across it.
