NYPD: Two people robbed at gun point near Kaufman Cinemas

Individual NYPD seeks to identify in connection to the robbery.

Three men robbed two people at gun point just blocks from the Kaufman Astoria Cinemas last week, according to the NYPD.

The victims, a 28-year old man and a 20-year-old woman, were walking past 36-21 33rd Street at 3:10 a.m. on July 22 when three men came up to them, one with a firearm, and demanded their belongings, police said.

The male victim handed over his items to the perpetrators, who then fled northbound from the scene in a dark colored car.

The victims did not suffer any injuries.

The three individuals are described as male, 20-years of age, black and with dark complexions.

The NYPD has released a surveillance photo of an individual regarding the robbery, and are asking the public for assistance in identifying him.
