A new Thai restaurant has opened on Greenpoint Avenue on the border of Sunnyside and Long Island City.
The restaurant, called Thai Tree, is located at 36-17 Greenpoint Ave. (near 50th Avenue) where Williamsburger had operated since 2013. Williamsburger closed in March.
The eatery is operating in a section of the neighborhood that is not known for dining and entertainment. It is located on the periphery of a manufacturing area, and in the vicinity of St. Raphaels Church.
Thai Tree has a large menu which can be viewed on seamless. It is open 7 days from 11am through 11pm and delivers. (718) 806-1046
It offers $8.95 lunch specials between 11am-3:30pm.
