The police have released video of a man who allegedly groped and got in a fight with a female off-duty police officer at the 40th Street subway station on Friday.
The suspect allegedly pressed his groin against the officer’s arm at around 10:20 am on the Manhattan-bound 7 train and a physical altercation ensued at the 40th Street station. The police did not provide details as to what happened during the altercation but did say the officer, 36, was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital for observation.
The suspect fled the station northbound on 40th Street.
The individual is described by police as Asian, 25-years age, light complexion, brown eyes, black hair, last seen wearing black sneakers, and black jeans.
