A seven-story mixed use building—featuring 36 residential units and a ground floor dance studio– is planned to go up at 35-10 Astoria Boulevard, YIMBY reported.
The developer, Astoria Boulevard LLC, has yet to file plans with the Building Department and has to get the site rezoned in order to proceed. Demolition permits have yet to be sought.
The proposed building would be 52,000 square feet, containing a 2,800 square-foot dance studio on the ground floor, YIMBY reported. Twenty percent of the 36 units would be designated as affordable. Plans also include 13 parking spaces.
The location is currently a two-story building that is home to Callina’s School of Dance.
ARC Architecture + Design Studio completed the designs and released the images.
Should the rezoning be approved, the developer expects the building to be completed by 2020.
