Ready for a free afternoon of family fun, Whitestone?

The community’s 4th Annual Family Fun Day will take place on Saturday, Sept. 23, at Francis Lewis Park. The day of food, music, games and giveaways draws thousands to the Whitestone space.

The event will feature fun activities, including pumpkin picking and pony rides. New York Mets mascot, Mr. Met, is also scheduled to make an appearance.

Attendees can also engage with their local police officers and learn about how to get more involved in their communities.

The event will run from noon until 4 p.m. at Francis Lewis Park, located at Third Avenue and 147th Street.

Family Fun Day is organized by the 109th Precinct, 109th Precinct Community Council, We Love Whitestone Civic Association and the Greater Whitestone Taxpayers Civic Association and made possible with donations from a number of local businesses, organizations, families and elected officials.
