Two weeks after Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico, Council Member Costa Constantinides has begun a collection to help aid its victims.

Supplies can be dropped off at Constantinides’ office at 31-09 Newtown Avenue during business hours. He is asking residents to drop off baby food, diapers, batteries, first aid supplies and feminine hygiene products.

“Our fellow citizens in Puerto Rico are still in desperate need of our help,” Constantinides said. “With a slow federal aid response, our city must come together to provide relief to families without food or water throughout Puerto Rico.”
