Vernon Grille at 48-20 Vernon Boulevard

A Greek-American restaurant has opened for diners on Vernon Boulevard.
Vernon Grille, located at 48-20 Vernon Boulevard, opened on Oct. 12 and is serving staples like grilled octopus, spanakopita, gyros, and grilled meats along with American foods like burgers, buffalo wings, and sandwiches. Soups and salads will also be prepared at the restaurant. Entrees range from $10.00 to $25.00.
The restaurant seats 40 people, and sidewalk seating is also planned for the locale, which should double its capacity. The locale has yet to receive its wine and beer license.
George Tsiolis, the owner, has been in the restaurant business for over 40 years, and feels “very good” about coming out of retirement to run the restaurant located at the former site of San Remo.
“It will be about quantity, quality, service, and cleanliness,” Tsolis told the LIC Post.
