LONG ISLAND CITY – Modern Spaces NYC is hosting a free craft beer crawl in Long Island City this Saturday as part of a series of open houses dubbed “SpacesOpen.”
The self-guided beer crawl will take place at five different condo buildings–between 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.– that are being marketed by Modern Spaces.
The public will be invited to sample beers from Big Alice, Fifth Hammer and Rockaway Brewing, while learning more about condominiums available at each site.
“We wanted to do this since it is an exciting way for people to experience the neighborhood,” said Eric Benaim, CEO & Co-Founder at Modern Spaces. “We chose these breweries because we wanted to introduce folks to these great local establishments.”
No RSVP is required to take part in the crawl. The breweries will have representatives servicing guests as follows:
– Rockaway Brewery will be serving drinks at The Harrison located 27-21 44th Dr. and at Canvas located at 42-83 Hunter St.
– Big Alice Brewery will be serving drinks at The Jackson located at 13-33 Jackson Ave. and at The Decker located at 21-10 44th Dr.
– Newcomer Fifth Hammer Brewery will be serving drinks at Five 12 located at 5-12 51st Ave.
“We are big believers in community and part of buying a new home is essentially buying into the neighborhood,” Benaim added. “We want people to experience LIC as a dynamic neighborhood with great businesses and a welcoming community; It’s a great place to live.”
