Armed crook robs Jamaica pharmacy at gunpoint for cash and drugs: cops

Police are looking for a gun-toting thief who stole drugs and cash from a Jamaica pharmacy.

According to police, at 1:25 p.m. on Dec. 19, an unknown man walked into Aly-Marc Pharmacy, located at 179-41 Hillside Ave. He displayed a firearm to the 63 year-old pharmacist and placed an Adidas bag on the counter, demanding Oxycodone and Promethazine.

The suspect then went behind the counter and forced the victim fill the bag with the requested items.

After removing 600 pills of Oxycodone, eight 1-pint bottles of Promethazine, and approximately $3,600 in cash, the suspect fled the scene eastbound on Hillside Avenue and entered the “F” train subway station at the corner of 179 Street and Hillside Avenue.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male aged 27 to 28 years old, standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket, a gray baseball hat and a black wig and carrying an Adidas bag.
