Police released on Thursday footage of a fake cop and his partner in crime who recently robbed a woman at a Jackson Heights nightclub.
Law enforcement sources said the incident occurred at 12:45 a.m. on Nov. 16 inside the Amor Night Club located at 78-01 Roosevelt Ave.
According to authorities, the 34-year-old woman was approached by the first suspect, described as a Hispanic man standing 5 foot 5 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with brown eyes and a partially bald head wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, beige shoes and eyeglasses. He flashed a shield and identified himself as a police officer, then demanded the woman’s wallet.
After the victim handed over her wallet, police said, the phony cop was observed fleeing the club with a second individual, described as a Hispanic man wearing a baseball cap, a jacket, a hooded sweatshirt and light-colored pants.
The theft was reported to the 115th Precinct.
