A man is in critical condition after he was struck by a car on the Sunnyside/Long Island City border last night, police say.
The hit-and-run happened at around 9:00 p.m. on Jan. 16, when the 27-year-old victim was crossing 35th Street mid-block between Queens Boulevard and 43rd Avenue, police said.

The victim was struck by a dark-colored SUV traveling north on 35th Street, according to police. The driver then fled the scene with his car.
The 27-year-old was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst in critical condition, police said.
No arrests have been made and an investigation into the incident is ongoing, the NYPD said.
