Police look for burglar who stole Rolex, company checkbooks from Long Island City contractor

Cops are searching for a crafty crook who entered a Long Island City contractor’s office and got away with a Rolex, cash and company checkbooks.

At about 7:48 a.m. on March 4, police said, the suspect entered Penta Restoration at  24-11 41st Ave. through an open stairwell door. He then entered a third floor office and stole a Rolex, $3,000 in cash and company checkbooks.

The incident was later reported to the 114th Precinct.

Police describe him as a black man who was last seen wearing a black track suit.
