Detectives arrested a Bushwick teenager early on Monday morning for his alleged role in a deadly stabbing in Ridgewood earlier this month.

Luis Paredes, 16, of Putnam Avenue faces second-degree murder and robbery charges for the stabbing death of Glendale‘s Daniel Atkinson, 24, on the evening of March 9.

Atkinson and two others were found with stab wounds at the corner of Palmetto Street and St. Nicholas Avenue at 9:23 p.m. on March 9, according to police. Atkinson had a stab wound to his abdomen and was rushed to Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where he later died.

The other two victims — a 26-year-old man knifed in the back and shoulder, and a 23-year-old man with stab wounds to his head and back — were treated for their injuries at Elmhurst Hospital.

Sources familiar with the investigation said that members of the 104th Precinct Detective Squad tracked down Paredes at his Bushwick home through an ongoing investigation. He was not known to the victim.

Paredes was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court on March 19 and ordered held without bail; he must return to court on April 2.
