Thieves Steal $50 From Bodega on Greenpoint Avenue: NYPD

A pair of thieves stole $50 in cash from a bodega along Greenpoint Avenue weeks ago, the police announced last night.

The two men broke the locks off the gates guarding Yogi Convenience, located at 41-11 Greenpoint Ave. at 2:49 a.m. on Feb. 1, police say.

Once the pair lifted the gate and went inside, they stole approximately $50 in cash from the register, according to police.

The two men then fled from the scene by a white four-door sedan, and headed north on 41st Street, police say. Surveillance video released by the NYPD shows the two suspects walking through the streets and later getting into the white car.

Police say the suspects dressed in all black clothing.
