Keith Hernandez, the former MLB first baseman and current analyst, will be in Long Island City next week to sign copies of his newly released book.

The ticketed book signing will take place on June 8 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Book Culture LIC, located at 26-09 Jackson Ave.

Hernandez will sign copies of his memoir, “I’m Keith Hernandez”, described as a “tell all” book that traces his rise from a young Little League player in Northern California to his MLB career with the St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Mets from the 70s to late 80s.

Hernandez, who earned eleven consecutive Golden Gloves, an MVP award, and helped the Cardinals and Mets win World Series titles, also delves into the status of baseball in the present and the future in his new memoir.

The former first baseman has worked in television since 2000, serving as a broadcaster for Mets games and a studio analyst for MLB on Fox.

Tickets for the book signing are available on Brown Paper Tickets for $28, and include a copy of the book. No photos are allowed with the author, as well as personalized signatures.
