The police are looking for a woman who allegedly swiped a purse containing $700 at Food Cellar in Court Square earlier this month.
The suspect allegedly entered the supermarket, located at 43-18 Crescent Street, at around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1 and took a purse that a customer left unattended on a table.
The purse contained $700 and two credit cards.
The thief is described as Hispanic, with glasses and her hair in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing a white headband, a white T-shirt, gray tights and pink sneakers.
