The Sunnyside-Woodside Lions Club is inviting the public to an all-day fundraising trip at a casino in Pennsylvania later this month.
The community advocacy group will head to the Sands Casino in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on May 20 on a bus departing from Sunnyside at 9 a.m.
The six-hour trip includes gambling at the casino resort and shopping at the outlets within the large complex.
Tickets cost $45, with a $20 slot playback voucher from the casino included and an additional $5 voucher for food.
The funds raised at the event will go toward the club for its activities and operational costs throughout the year, according to Liz Taylor, a member of the group.

The bus will pick up attendees at Queens Boulevard and 41st Street, in front of The Courtyard Ale House, beginning at 8:45 a.m. It will return to the same site at approximately 9 p.m. the same day.
