Man Beaten at Steinway Street Pizzeria, Police Looking for Four Suspects

Police are searching for four men who allegedly beat up a man in a Steinway Street pizzeria and stole a woman’s cellphone.

The four suspects got into an argument with the two victims, a 38-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, inside 3 Bros Pizza at 25-89 Steinway Street at around 4 a.m. on June 3, police said.

One of the assailants started to punch and kick the male victim. Another assailant grabbed the woman’s phone when it fell to the floor in the melee.

The four assailants took off on foot, leaving the male victim with a concussion and bruising on his head and body.

Emergency responders brought the male victim to Astoria General Hospital, where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police describe the four suspects as black men who are between 20 and 30 years old. One of the suspects was last seen wearing basketball jersey, a baseball cap and a beard. The second was wearing a basketball jersey and a baseball cap. The third was wearing a skull cap and a striped T-shirt. The fourth had a beard and was wearing dark clothing.
